CLIENT GROOMING AGREEMENT

When booking with Beauty Petz you are agreeing with the following Terms and Conditions.

Consent Form
On your first appointment you will need to confirm the details of your dog and other relevant details. Once you have given us all the details we will ask you to sign a Consent Form agreeing to the terms. We ask that all the information you give us is correct.
Appointments
It is recommended to book an appointment a least a week in advance to avoid disappointment. If you need to cancel an appointment, please give 24hr notice. We understand if unforeseen events occur this may not be possible, but please understand if this happens too regularly, we have the right to refuse future bookings.
Payments
After leaving your dogs with Beauty Petz you agree to pay all charges in full before the dog can leave the parlour. This includes, but not limited to: grooming fees, special circumstances fees, flea charges, de-matting charges.

Grooming Charges
Beauty Petz holds the right to change the prices of its services and products at any time. The prices are decided by the groomer on consultation or even during the groom. No prices given are guaranteed and may vary from visit to visit. The Prices page is only there as a guideline.

Medical Problems and Vet Treatments
When booking your appointment or upon arrival, please inform us of any health problems your dog has. During the groom, should your dog need immediate Veterinary treatment, we will try to contact you (the owner) first, and then take your dog to the closest Veterinary surgery. By booking in, Beauty Petz has permission to obtain immediate veterinary treatment for your pet if deemed necessary. We strongly advise you, as a dog owner, to insure your pet. We will take the best possible care of your dog at all times, but in the unlikely event of any injury, loss, illness suffered or death we cannot be held responsible, nor pay any vet bills. The owner agrees that Beauty Petz is not liable for any pre-existing conditions and problems found during grooming and the owner agrees to pay for all medical treatment incurred due to such.

Aggressive/Scared Dogs
Beauty Petz will attempt to groom all dogs but reserves the right to cancel a groom for the safety of the groomers and the dog, a charge may still occur. Please let us know if your dog has started to show signs of aggression as their personalities can change over time. In conjunction with the Dangerous Dogs Act, the owner understands that they will be held liable for all bites/injuries caused by their dog. 
When dogs are scared they sometimes act unpredictable or thrash around. We will endeavour to keep your dog calm within reasonable measures of dog grooming and hold the right to cancel a groom at any time if the dog shows too much stress that we feel it is unsafe to carry on the groom. Charges may still occur.
Matted Dogs
In conjunction with the rules set out by The Animal Welfare Act 2006, Beauty Petz will not de-matt coats that have been neglected and might cause stress or trauma to the pet by doing so. Small matts may be attempted to de-matt but as dogs react differently then we hold the right to cancel the groom as we see fit, charges will still occur.
I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE TERMS OF THIS CLIENT GROOMING AGREEMENT WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT AND UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS AND HAVE VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT, ASSURANCE OR GUARANTEE AND INTEND IT TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY THE LAW AND AGREE THAT IF ANY PORTION OF THIS AGREEMENT IS HELD TO BE INVALID OR UNENFORCEABLE, THE REMAINDER OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT. I AGREE THAT IT IS INTENDED THAT ALL TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT CONTROL DESPITE ANY PARTICULAR STATUE OR LAW THAT WOULD OTHERWISE PROTECT ME OR MY DOG(S).
